Celebrating my Irish heritage each year has always been, well.....tradition. Growing up in Queens, I took the subway every year into the parade which was so awesome!
What a privilege to live so close to 5th Avenue! There I am on the left on my son's first St. Paddy's Day!
We have so many great memories of living in the city with the boys. In 2012, we marched in the parade with my lads in a double stroller - that was quite a memorable workout! Each year we would go for corned beef and cabbage at The York Grill on the Upper East Side (well, Phil and I would eat and drink our Guinness while the boys had their green mac 'n cheese)!
For YEARS, it was always fun being a bit of a DIY-er in terms of my St. Paddy's outfits! Back in the day it was handpainted shamrocks on my distressed jeans. Then one year it was oversized Irish sweaters with leggings and high boots (complete with green glitter eyeshadow and nails to match - oh Lawd)!
Now that I am a bit more "tame" I wanted to curate some items that represented Irish Glam! The Pub Crawls have now turned into Playdate Dinners but that doesn't mean we can't Glam It Up!
Hope you enjoy the offering of select accessories (and my handcrafted tee for Liam) which will keep your Irish Eyes Smiling all year round!
This Thursday, enjoy some special time with your families and show the kids The Lord of the Dance on YouTube - my boys were pretty blown away!
